2014 Summer vacation-Italy part 7

We visited the Neuschwanstein castle and the Hohenschwangau castle in Schwangau, Germany. They are so beautiful and the area is just breathtakingly beautiful. Unfortunately it was raining and my pictures are kind of dark but still we had an amazing time.

With Sister Puschner in Munich. Brent baptized her in Peru. She is Peruvian and her late husband was from Vienna, Austria.  She moved to Vienna in 1989.  We were supposed to have met her at the Neuschwanstein castle but we could not find her and she could not find us. We knew she was taking the train from Schwangau to Munich but did not know where she was staying that night, before heading back to Austria.  So Brent decided to start driving towards Munich. We tried to call but our phones didn't work in Germany, neither did our internet so we could send a message on facebook. We stopped at a Mcdonalds to ask but no one understood English.  We stopped at a gas station and the attendant was from Africa and spoke English. He let us use his phone to call her but she did not answer. He then let us use his tablet and we made contact with her daughter in Vienna through Facebook.  I had sent both Isabelle (her daughter) and Sister Puschner a message on Facebook trying to desperately make contact with either one. We had come so far to see her and we did not want to leave without seeing her!! We made contact right away with her daughter first and then a few minutes later Sister Puschner answer my message!! We were only a half hour away from her hotel in Munich!!!  We drove to Munich and were able to see her and her grandson!! I am so happy it all worked out!!

Our drive back to Italy. We drove through Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. It was a beautiful drive.

In Europe there are castles everywhere.

Our really cool pilot let Conner sit on the cockpit and wear his hat and take a picture.

Our plane was delayed and we were tired. In New York JFK. There were many flights cancelled that night.
