Albita my sister in law Saby's mom

My brother called me and asked me to please go meet his wife's Saby's mom Albita. She in from Guayaquil, Ecuador and was visiting in Orlando for a couple of days. This was probably the only time I would be able to meet her since I don't know if I will ever go to Ecuador, by the way I have some really good friends in Ecuador that I have known since 1983 and keep asking me to visit them so maybe I will go some day. I went to the place she was staying in Kissimmee and was able to meet her and her friends.  She is super nice!

Mother's day weekend

 It was a busy weekend. Brent and Conner went to the Fathers and sons camp out but could not stay for the night because we had plans for the Saturday. They went and enjoyed the evening activities.

On Saturday we drove to Port Orange to have lunch with Alison and Kevin for their birthday. We also had Sisters Glover and Brady join us for lunch. They are companions serving in Port Orange and they served in our ward as companions. Sister Glover was about to finish her mission.

Seedfolks festival at Conner's school.

At Conner's Seedfolks Festival. The students started a garden in February. Conner planted potatoes. They also made a heritage box. Lucky for him I love genealogy and know all about our heritage. So fun!

Happy 29th wedding Anniversary to us!

 I had this great weekend get away planned for us for our anniversary but we had to cancel because I was in bed from Monday until Friday with a nasty sinus infection. Plan A was to go to a resort. We had a plan B to go walk around Disney 

springs but didn't work because I was still exhausted. So we had a last minute plan C and we went and bought a new car for our 29th wedding anniversary.

Our old car which was never my car because Brent bought it for him and when he bought the other car I got this one. But I am not complaining I loved it.

More updates!!! Conner's birthday party and a great ending of 7th grade!

On April 26th we had a fun mutual activity at Disney Springs. 

 On April 28th we had Conner's 13th birthday party with his friends.

On April 28th in the morning we had parent-teacher conference, the last one of 7th grade. He met all his goals and had a great year. 

We got an invitation in the mail for next weeks Middle School Award ceremony. Conner is so excited because only the families of the students receiving awards are invited. It means Conner will be getting an award. He wanted this so much! He doesn't know which award he is getting. He has worked so hard in all his classes and has done great! We are very proud of him. Can't wait for the award ceremony next week!
