| When I took Parker to the MTC we stopped at the church distribution center in Orem and he bought this gift for Conner. He asked me to wrap it and give it to him at Christmas. I almost forgot it but Brent found it in my closet when we were getting all the gifts on Christmas eve. |

| I am sad because this Christmas is the last time that one of my kids gets to shop at their school's Holiday shop!! Gone are the days that I will see one of my kids come home from school with their gifts purchased by them, and wrapped at the school. Gone are the days of seeing the excitement in their faces as they keep the secret of what they bought for us mom and dad and their siblings. Conner, being our last child, is the last one to shop at the school's Holiday shop. Sad day for this mom!! :( |

| At church today. I gave a talk about Christmas today. Last Sunday Brother Jackson from our Bishopric asked me to give a 5 minute talk about my thoughts on Christmas. He said they wanted members from the Stake who are in our Ward to speak at church. So they asked me (Stake RS presidency), Brother Raper (High Counselor) and President Johnson (Stake Presidency) to speak today. There were beautiful musical numbers by the Primary, also Sister Jackson played the violin, and also a quartet, and Brother Milar and Sister McCabe's solo. |

| Conner loves to clean the church. I was not there that day but Brent went with Conner and he took this picture. Later Brent told me that when Conner saw it he complained to Brent that he took his picture but he was not smiling. Conner does enjoy helping to clean the church. He gets excited when it is our turn. |

| My childhood friend Mildred Burgos was in town. our mother's knew each other before we were born and my grandma and her mom were neighbors. We played together almost every day. She is a year older than me. She married Jose Leon, who is distant cousin of mine. My great grandfather and his great grandfather were brothers so my grand father and his grandmother were cousins I thought it was neat because Mildred and I are like sisters and she married my cousin! |
