Valentines Day

Valentines Day. This year it was a Sunday so we spent it at church and then we had a Stake Youth Fireside that night on missionary work. The Orlando Mission President and his wife spoke to the youth.

I saw this sign on the instagram of my favorite store: Doxology and I looked up the scripture. 

Mark 16:15 

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 

We can be part of the story of Jesus when we participate in missionary work. I love that thought.  We are living in wonderful time, the time of the gathering of Israel. We can do that by doing missionary work and genealogy.

What does the Lord require of you before He reveals His will?

D&C 6:5-7 - Pray, ask and knock. Keep the commandments and share the gospel. Don't seek riches, seek wisdom.

He will bless you with - He will reveal the mysteries of God and ye shall be rich, meaning eternal life.

D&C 6:14-24 - Pray for personal revelation that we may be instructed by the Spirit of God.

- enlighten our mind by the spirit of truth

- only god knows our thoughts and intents of our hearts

- the Book of Mormon is true

- will receive a witness of the Book of Mormon when we pray (testimony)
