Frogs, Trophies and Halloween!!

Last night as I went to reach for the cable to charge my cell phone, I saw a frog sitting on the edge of my nightstand just behind the phone. It freaked me out!! I am so tired of finding frogs in my toilet and now in my room.

Today we had a big party at the YMCA for the kids that played basball and soccer.

I thought the trophies looked cool on the table.

Today we had our "Trunk or Treat" at the church. There were a ton of people, we had a great time.

Conner went as Luigi, Parker was a teenager, and I guess I was someone fron the 60's mixed with the 80's.

Brinley was a cute little lamb.

A random kid from another Ward and Conner.

Conner's baseball

Conner has improved a lot in baseball. In his coach pitch each player on his team bats every inning. In his game last night he got three solid hits and did not need to use the tee. We are very proud of how he is doing.

FHE at the Meyerson's

On Monday we went to Meagan and Chad Meyerson's home for FHE. We had a great lesson on Temples and decorated Halloween cookies. It was fun to visit with them. Thank you Meyersons.

A quote from President Joseph Fielding Smith

For enrichment meeting tonight we were asked to bring a quote from a latter-day Prophet. I came across this quote that I really liked. I have always been THANKFUL to be a member of the church.

Pres. Joseph Fielding Smith

I wonder how well pleased we are that we are members of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If we have the right understanding, this is the greatest gift so far as mortality is concern that can be given us--membership in the kingdom of God, his divinely appointed church.

Hanson cousins get together

Yesterday we had a little get together with Brent's cousins and the Walters and Knell family.

Abe Knell (Gretchen's husband) showing them something on his phone. Sister Allie Knell, little Brooklyn Walters, Cassie and Jake Walters (Cassie is Allie's daughter, Abe and Gretchen's niece and Abe is Allie's brother in law) and Brent.

Gretchen and her daughter Sadie and Cassie's sister.

Johnathan Hanson (Brent's cousin) and Brittany.

Gretchen's son McKay and Brinley.

Jonathan and Natalie (his wife).

The cousins and spouses.

Jonathan's kids, Clark, Katy, Sarah having breakfast with Conner before he went to school and they went to Disney.

We had a great time visiting with everyone. At one point I was sitting with Gretchen's daughter Lucy and Jonathan's Katy and Sarah and with Conner. I told them how their grandpas were brothers and that they were cousins. They looked at me a little confused. It was funny. Conner then said that his favorite cousin was Will.

Flat Stanley part 3

We took Flat Stanley to see the swamp in our neighborhood. We had an alligator there this summer but the associaton had a trapper catch him. He was about 3 feet long. I am glad that I never saw him. The mansion in the background is Ken Griffey Jr. home.

Today we were driving on the freeway when we saw flames and smoke. This car was on fire. On the way back I took a picture. It did not turn out great because we were going 65 miles an hour.

Flat Stanley part 2

On Monday Flat Stanley went with us to Conner's baseball game.

You can see Conner at bat right behind Flat Stanley.

Today we went to the Orlando Temple to take some pictures.

We took a picture in front of our house. The grass is looking so good, but not for long, as soon as the cold weather rolls in the grass will get brown.
