I am not complaining I am just venting!!!!

I really dislike tax season!!!!!! I am not complaining I am just saying. I don't get to see Brent very much these days. This past Saturday he spent the whole entire day moving to a "temporary office" until his office is finished and then he has to move AGAIN. It has been so stressful around here. With my new calling (which I really like) I jokingly say "my life belongs to the Windermere Ward Relief Society now" , I am so BUSY these days. Meetings and planning stuff and visiting sisters etc. etc. Today I wasn't able to practice piano (which calms me down). Conner went to sleep already so I can't practice because obviously the piano will wake him up. My piano teacher says she can tell when I play that I am uptight because my shoulders are up and tense. My house is a disaster which is driving me crazy and I am somehow still trying to go to my Zumba classes during the week. I am planning my very first additional Relief Society meeting, we don't have a sister called right now to coordinate these meetings so I am in charge of it and I have never done it and it is in 2 WEEKS. Thank goodness for the internet, I got all my ideas from it. But then my stupid computer got a virus on Friday, Brent sent me his laptop from the office with Brittany on Saturday so I could get stuff done and his laptop did not work. It actually stopped working after Brittany got all her homework done and I went to use it Saturday afternoon. The highlight of my weekend was that I got to watch Brinley while Bronson was helping Brent and Brittany was doing her homework. She is now walking and she is so cute and fun. She loves Conner's little tykes car and she learned how to open the door and get in and out of the car. That is all she did the whole time I watched her.

Busy!!

My calling is sure keeping me busy, and with tax season upon us our family doesn't have time for much these days. We have a huge Ward and lots of women which makes for a lot of compassionate service. I am over the additional RS meetings so I am now planning the meeting for next month which is the RS birthday party. I think is going to turn out good.





Little Brooklyn Walters (her mom Cassie is Brent's cousin Gretchen's niece) spent an afternoon with us because Cassie was not feeling good. Her back was hurting and she could not move.

Brooklyn is sooooo cute and I love how she talks.


I had a birthday lunch at my house for my visiting teaching companion and one of the sisters that we visit teach. We had a great time.

We went to Universal Studios or how Conner called it "University Studios" (we corrected him but it sure was funny). Parker was great with Conner, playing with him on the playground and just watching over him. We had a great time, eventhough we are so busy we were able to find a couple of hours to go. The weather has been beautiful!!

Brent won this big Pikachu for the boys by making a basket, a very difficult basket. I knew he could do it he has a great shot.

All day Brent kept calling to make sure I checked the front door, he obviously wouldn't tell me what it was. He got me this awesome Sharies Berries, chocolate covered strawberries. They are so good!!! Brent is funny, he got me something he wouldn't be tempted to snack on, he hates strawberries. Thank you to my wonderful husband!!!

Families Can Be Together Forever

New calling, again!!!

We got a call yesterday from the second counselor in the Ward that he wanted to meet with Brent and I. I thought surely is a new calling for Brent because three weeks ago I got called to teach Primary. I was shocked when he said it was for me. I am now the 2nd counselor in the Relief Society. This is completely out of my comfort zone. This will sure be a learning experience for me, I have never served in RS other than Compassionate service leader for two years and Enrichment board for a few months. I have a lot to learn. I am excited to meet and get to know all the sisters in the Ward. Because I have been in Primary for soooo long I don't know a lot of the sisters.

National Federation of Music Clubs

On Saturday Conner participated in the National Federation of Music Clubs. He played two solos on the piano. He earned a "Superior" or 5 points, which is the highest points you can earn. After he earns 15 points the first "Festival Cup" or trophy is awarded. It is only once a year so he has two more years to go to earn it. We are very proud of him.

On Saturday we went to Brittany Swapp's wedding reception. Their decorations were very cute and simple.

Haircut and diagnosis

I was getting tired of my hair and on Saturday I had it cut short. I really like how easy it is to style it. This is not a very good picture of me, it's hard to take your own picture. My doctor called and I have heart valve leakage (heart murmur) and premature heart beat (premature atrial contractions). He said he is not worried about either one but he wants to make sure to check for the premature heart beat at my regular check ups every six months.
