Updating my bedroom

I had been debating for a while if I should or shouldn't get a new bed frame. I had bought a black TV furniture stand for my bedroom and added a black table that was on the entryway and two chairs. I wanted a frame that would match the black pieces. I decided to have it painted instead because, it was cheaper and my bed frame was in great condition even though we had bought it in 1996.  A sister in our Ward has a business of restoring furniture. I asked her if she could do it and she said yes. I am so happy how it turned out. Now my bedroom looks much better.

When Conner was a baby he wrote on the foot board with a pen. I took pictures so I could remember his work of art. :)

I love it, I think it looks so much better

He is PERFECT

Here is a post I made on Instagram . It was around Thanksgiving time and I was focusing on my blessings.

It may seem like my life is always this perfect life because of what you see posted on social media but for those of you who have known me for a long time, know that my life has had some pretty hard trials and that not everything has been perfect. But ONE thing I know for sure is that this man right here is perfect for me. TWO, I met him at the perfect time, when I needed him most. THREE, He's perfectly patient with me. FOUR, He thinks everything I do is perfect. FIVE, He has always taken perfect care of our family. SIX, Heavenly Father knew Brent was perfect for me so he sent him to me at the hardest time of my life. I hate to be corny but seriously, we are just perfect for each other. I love this man more than words can express and every day I give THANKS for him.

Sunday at church

Alison and Kevin were here for Thanksgiving and went to church with us

Vero Beach get together

We went to Vero Beach with my cousins on Saturday November 24th,  and had a wonderful visit with my tío Carlos and Titi Sandra. It is wonderful to spend time with family. We picked Vero Beach because it was half way for all of us. My uncle and aunt live in Miami and the rest of us in Orlando so it was a 2 hour drive for all.

Walking around the neighborhood

I went walking last week and I decided I would pay attention to the beautiful nature around me. I’m so grateful to my Heavenly Father that I’m able to live where I do and be able to enjoy these walks. I’m going to start paying more attention and not take things for granted.

Painting a picture

I love learning so I learned to paint this picture! On November 15th, my friend Kacy Wentzel hosted a few of us sisters from the Ward, Sister Feth, Sister Salls, Sister Mackey and me.

We saw a tutorial on how to paint the picture and, this was the first step, to paint the canvas in orange.
