Come Follow Me - 3 Nephi 17 - 26

3 Nephi 17-26

Jesus taught the gospel to the people in America at the temple in the land of Bountiful. When it was time for him to go he said he would come back. He told them to go home and ponder on the things that he had spoken and to pray to the Father in Heaven in his name and to have their minds prepared because he was coming back tomorrow.
Jesus saw that they were in tears and he had compassion. He healed the sick and afflicted one by one and blessed the children one by one.
The apostles or disciples of Jesus Christ divided the multitude in 12 bodies because there were so many people. The twelve apostles taught the people and asked everyone to kneel down in prayer to Heavenly Father in Jesus' name. They arose and the apostles ministered to the people the same words that Jesus had spoken and knelt again in prayer.  They prayed for what they most desired, that they should be given the Holy Ghost. After they went in the water and the people followed them. Nephi was baptized and then he baptized the disciples that Jesus had chosen.
Jesus prayed and gave thanks to the Father because he gave the Holy Ghost to the disciples.

What do we do when we hear that Jesus is coming but we don't know when? What can we do while we wait for the Second coming?

(The twelve got together and divided the people to teach them) We need to listen to our Prophet and Apostles. (They prayed for that which is they most desired, the Holy Ghost) We should be praying to receive the Holy Ghost. (They were baptize) We should participate in ordinances.
