My friend Elder Jorge Alvarado, who was called as a General Authority Seventy last April, spoke in General Conference. All of my friends from Puerto Rico posted about it on Facebook :) This is a picture I have of part of our mutual in our Ward in Ponce, Puerto Rico. I am about 17 years old and standing behind the girl in a red blouse and pink skirt and Georgie or Elder Alvarado, is the boy in the front with the dark blue shirt, he was about 12 years old. The girl in the red blouse is Ivonne Gonzalez my brother's ex wife and mother of my nieces and nephew.

My notes from Conference:
Elder Gerrit Gong: Covenant belonging. God keeps His covenants. Universal in their requirement and Individual in their opportunity.
Blessings come to those who honor covenants.
Cristina Franco: Sharing the gospel.
Elder Dieter Uchtdorf: Path of discipleship. Life journey. Don't give up. We chose to come to earth. To help others is the path of discipleship. True disciples love God and His children without expectations of anything in return. We take upon ourselves the name of Jesus Christ and we should not be ashamed of Him.
Elder Walter Gonzalez: Faith-trust in God. Doing the will of God. We can feel the touch of the Saviors healing touch, like the lepers, in order to be cleanse.
Elder Gary Stevenson: Eternal Identity. Children of God. Satan is always tricking us. He deceives s, he disguises himself. He tells you obedience won't make you happy. The Spirit speaks truth and doesn't lie.
President Russell M. Nelson: Humanitarian help of the church.
