Argentina part 3

On July 8th we drove to Sunchales about two hours from Santa Fe, Parker served there and it was his last area. It was a very long day of travel for us, we also drove to Cordoba and Rosario but we had fun!

On Thursday we drove around Santa Fe and went to Parana. Parker served in both Santa Fe and Parana.

Parker's apartment was close to this soccer stadium.

I thought the name of this store in the Parana mall was funny.  I always called Parker Chiquito (little) and Cheeky for short.
An area in Santa Fe where Parker served. I about died when I saw it, it was very poor and dangerous. I remember while Parker on his mission, telling me about a dangerous area he had to go to and I asked him why? His answer was, because there are children of God in there that need to hear the gospel.

Thursday night we had dinner at the Chiapello's home. They are incredible people. Sister Chiapello is from Chiclayo, Peru and area where Brent served on his mission. Brother Chiapello is from Argentina. They are the most wonderful people you will ever meet. They don't have a lot of material possessions but they have a big heart. They love the missionaries, they could not have children of their own so to them the missionaries are their children. They live and take care of brother Chiapello's father who is sick, they also have brother Chiapello's sister living with them, she is disabled. They own a small bakery and sister Chiapello is a seamstress.
