Conner was ordained a Teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood

Conner was ordained a Teacher in the Aaronic Priesthood on April 15th. We are very proud of him. I took him to the temple on Sunday the 22nd of April and took his pictures.

Music USA at Universal Orlando

Conner's band participated in the Music USA at Universal Orlando on April 6, 2018. His band, The Wind Ensemble won first place.

Video game night to celebrate Conner's 14th birthday

 For Conner's birthday he had friends over on Friday April 13th for a fun video game night! They had a great time.

Conner's 14th birthday

 Conner's 14th birthday.  I made him an organic chocolate cake and it turned out delicious (the same cake I made for Brent's birthday and it is now our favorite chocolate cake recipe). I can't believe my baby is 14.

 

This and that

The weirdest thing happened to me. On March 4th I bumped my arm as you can see on the picture there is a bruise and then the next day I woke up and saw that below the bruise there was another bruise but that it was a raised bump. Not sure exactly what that was but it is finally going away. I still have a small bump today and it is the 4th of April so a month later I still have it.

I bought these very pretty tulips at Publix. I love the color.

Brent's birthday

 On Thursday, March 22nd we celebrated Brent's 52nd birthday. Conner helped me make a chocolate cake. Kevin and Ali came over for the weekend.

Brent came home from his busy day at work (it is tax season) and we went for a walk before singing happy birthday.

 On Saturday we had a  BBQ and we made Chicken shish kebabs.
