Jon Secada concert at Epcot

Brent and I were desperate need of a date. So the first Saturday after tax season we went to Epcot to see Jon Secada in concert. A couple in our ward invited us to go with them, it was a good thing because we didn't know about these concerts and they are actually a lot of fun. It wasn't crowded and we got good seats. We want to do this again!

Last year Conner and I went to the blueberry farm for the first time and we loved it. We went again this year and Brent was able to join us since it was after tax season. Conner loves to be with his dad so he had a great time!

Brent's cousin Ruth came to Disney World and were able to come to church with us. It was the busiest week of the year for Brent, April 15th. We were able to go to Disney after Brent got off of work on their last day here which was April 16th. We had a great time.

Hamilton the hedgehog and Conner's birthday party

Brother Chris Lowry and his wife Erin gave Conner a hedgehog for his birthday. They had Hamilton for about 10 months and because they were busy with work and were hardly ever home they decided to give it to Conner so he could take care of it. Conner loves Hamilton!

This year we had a pool birthday party for Conner. The kids had a lot of fun!

Parker's birthday

This is Bishop Daniel Leguizamon of the Terminal Parana Ward where Parker is serving and he was so nice and had a surprise birthday party for Parker. Sister Janeth Leguizamon is in the picture with their daughter. He is a wonderful Bishop who cares a lot about the missionaries. Heavenly Father has answered my prayers.

These other pictures were sent to me by sister Sister Rosilu Chiapello. I met her on facebook through another mom of a missionary serving in Parker's mission. Parker has never served in her ward but we became friends anyway. As we talked on facebook I learned that she is from Chiclayo, Peru, Brent served in Chiclayo although he did not meet her during his mission because she was living in Iquitos at the time. She married brother Chiapello who is from Argentina and they live in Santa Fe and own a small bakery. To get to church on Sunday they ride a big tricycle. She promised me that she would go meet Parker in Parana and she wanted to do it for his birthday. They traveled by bus to go visit Parker on Saturday the 18th of April, which was also Bishop Leguizamon's birthday. They are such wonderful people and so loving towards the missionaries. She baked Parker a cake. I was so worried that Parker would not celebrate his birthday and that was not the case.
